Miss Cavill and Mrs Black have enjoyed welcoming all of the children back to school! The children loved exploring their new classroom. The children have been sorting objects into groups in maths.
This week in DT, the children have been exploring mechanisms. The children made their own sliding mechanism.
In RE, the children were reading the story 'Daniel in the Lion's Den'. The children created their own lion masks and acted out the story.
In Science, the children have been looking at seasons, identifying leaves and matching them to the correct plant.
This week in DT, the children have been continuing their learning about mechanisms. They have explored, sliding mecanisms, levers and wheel mechanisms to make moving pictures.
In Maths the children have been exploring addition within 10. They have been focusing on adding two numbers together and writing number sentences. They have also learnt how to find number bonds within 10 systematically!
