Killingholme Primary School

In Year 3 and Year 4, children explored a range of poetry styles including rhyming poems, affirmations, and tanka poetry. They used creative language, rhythm, and imagination to express feelings and ideas while building confidence in reading and performing poetry. The children are now moving on to exploring fairy tales, where they will discover magical characters, exciting adventures, and important story lessons.

Our DT project gave the children the opportunity to learn how bread is made. They worked diligently to measure ingredients, knead the dough and prepare it for baking. The finished bread looked fantastic and tasted even better – a delicious reward for all their hard work!
